Respite for Families Affected by Cancer in Wigtownshire
A cancer diagnosis impacts not just the individual but the entire family. At WWAC, we believe everyone affected should have the chance for a healing, therapeutic break.
We offer a variety of respite options tailored to different needs. When you request respite, you'll have the opportunity to choose the option that best suits you.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A family member must have received a cancer diagnosis within the past three years.
- Applicants must reside in Wigtownshire (DG8 or DG9 postcodes).

Respite Options:
Wigwam Holidays, Wigtown in a grand pod with electric hot tub, which sleeps 4 people. Dogs allowed and bedding included.
North West Castle, Stranraer in a double room, dinner, bed and breakfast.
Westview Cottage, Port William is a gorgeous three-bedroom cottage and offers stunning views of the sea. It is a haven for relaxation, and guests will be able to enjoy the beach and explore the idyllic Port William. Here, guests can feel at peace, rest, and spend time with loved ones. (Available October to February only).
Nestled in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway lies Whitecairn Holiday Park offers a break for you to really relax and enjoy.
